This is a pioneering educational project. It aims to promote memory techniques in schools; working with teachers to introduce pupils to the benefits of powerful learning strategies. Our teachers were shown how to weave a range of tried-and-tested memory techniques into lessons across the curriculum, and the youngsters themselves took an active role in the process of learning to learn.

Who can Participate & How to Register? 

The Memory Contest invites all Institutes, colleges, Schools of all states, People of all ages from 8 years onwards from the particular country, letting them show off just how much they can do. It is expected that Participants from all over the country are likely to participate in this event. Before the final event all participants required to pass a Memory Test: (This test is based on memory feats and if anyone scores above 80% then the person can participate in this Championship.). Preliminary qualifying rounds would be held in different cities and states of the country. Those who qualify in the preliminary rounds – would get eligibility to participate in the final event. Participation without preparation means no worth accumulation. So every participant is suggested to go through training before taking part in the contest, after which they can able to bear 80% in the Memory Test and then they can participate in Championship more easily, for this i-Memory School will help you to trained your mind to unleash the hidden potential of your brain so that you can able to use your abilities to achieve success in this competition.

Memory Techniques gives the pupils confidence to effectively manage information, enabling them to remember and recall information more easily. If our brains were computers, we'd just add RAM to upgrade our memory. But, the human brain is far more complex and improving human memory requires more effort.   Imagine being able to memorize the order of cards in an entire deck as quickly as they can be dealt or phone numbers the moment they are voiced. Just like muscular strength, the ability to remember increases when exercised. Through simple Memory Techniques you can practice and perfect the skills required to remember playing cards, long string of numbers, mathematical constants like π (Pi), e, ϕ (Phi), Ɣ (Gamma), and strings of binary digits. The Scoring System for the Memory Contest:

Scoring is based on memorization time, number of items being memorized, recall time and accuracy. There will be scoring for each event. The final winner will be decided on the overall points scored after all the events. The 1st Prize is prize money of Rs 50,000/-. Compete against yourself and against others around the Country for the highest scores. 

By signing up to the Memory Contest, schools receive all the materials they need to run a complete course of memory training sessions and access a range of lesson plans. Some schools may choose only to run the training, but many others will also enter their children for the competition itself, letting them show off just how much they can do. Each school participating in the actual competition gains the prestigious Associated School Status.
